Hello Ian
I wonder if you can help me? I'm an arts writer and art historian, and I've been working with Yolngu from Eastern Arnhem Land for several years. I'm writing a catalogue essay on Gulumbu Yunupingu's art work, and I came across your blogg in my internet travels. I hadn't realised that astronomy in Nhulunbuy was so well established! I wonder if you have any writing on Yolngu astronomy that you would be willing to share? I'm also trying to track down information about the history of the ELDO tracking station at Gove, but so far haven't come across anything substantial.
Feel free to email me at espilia@unimelb.edu.au if you like.
Best wishes - look forward to hearing from you.
Regards
Elina
